travel info
For those guests that are not staying at the Marriott: If you are planning on parking at the venue, FREE VALET is included when you arrive before 4 pm.. Of course, you are also more than welcome to Uber or Lyft! Read on below in the FAQ for more details on this.
For those guests that are staying at the Marriott: We will have a shuttle service available from the hotel to the venue. Please note, this is ONLY available to guests staying at the hotel under the Rosenstein/Lile hotel block.
The ceremony, cocktail hour, and first half of the reception will be outside. Once the music starts pumping, we will migrate to the inside ballroom for the dancing portion of the evening. If dancing is not your bag, don't worry, we have plenty of places for you to sit and relax indoors!
Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception take place indoors or outdoors?
While we can't predict this, we can guess! In May, the weather is usually pretty warm. If you are concerned about getting cold, it can be a little cooler at night in the canyon, so dress accordingly!
What will the weather be like?
For those guests that are staying at the Marriott: We will have a shuttle service available from the hotel to the venue. The first shuttle will leave at (TBD) and will be operating right up until the ceremony time. Please note, this is ONLY available to guests staying at the hotel under the Rosenstein/Lile hotel block.
This shuttle will then be available for Marriott guest to go back to the hotel beginning at (TBD).
For anyone that is driving their car:
• VALET: If you are planning to drive your car and valet, it is highly recommended that you arrive no later than 3:45 pm. Valet is closed at at 4 pm. Valet will park your car if you arrive before 4 pm, and give you your keys. They will not be there at the end of the night though, so you will have to walk to you car(which should be parked very close by).
• If you arrive after valet has left, you can still park your car by the venue. There is a parking lot right next to it exclusively for the 1909, or there is street parking if necessary along the side of the road.
How do I get to AND FROM the wedding venue? Will transportation be provided?
Although we love your children, we regretfully cannot accommodate them at the venue due to restricted numbers. We recognize that this can be cumbersome to make arrangements for, but we sincerely appreciate the understanding, and look forward to seeing you at our adults-only celebration.
CAN I BRING MY CHILDREN?
Think cocktail/semi-formal vibes. But in truth, anything you want to wear we are sure will be wonderful. The bride requests you refrain from wearing a wedding dress, but if that's really all you have to wear, she prefers that to you going full-on "Rose getting drawn by Jack in Titanic."
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
Yes indeed! The drinks are on us...but the hangover is on you.
WILL THERE BE AN OPEN BAR?
We would love for you to mail back the RSVP card included in your invitation. But just to play it safe, since things happen and mail can get lost, it wouldn't be the worst idea to RSVP online.
